Out of the Abyss

A basic reason for so much perplexity, when the subject of Bible prophecy is under discussion, is the failure to properly evaluate the prophecies themselves. This is also due to the inability to identify the period in history during which certain foretold events are to come to pass. The larger setting, it must be understood, involves an awareness of the age long contest between good and evil - a contest which, in the latter days, has continued between Jesus Christ and His Kingdom and the entire gamut of Satanically-directed forces which would conspire to take the Kingdom by force.
